Botanic Gardens

As we are going to Vanuatu next week, we thought we'd take the boys to the Botanic Gardens for a look at the Conservatory and to look at the tropical plants. However he got scared of the steam (he thought it was a giant snake). We went back yesterday and a kookaburra landed on the stroller! Reuben was very excited, although Luke seemed pretty chilled about it.

The Big Rocking Horse

Yesterday we went to the Big Rocking Horse. Reuben climbed up to the top and we waved at Daddy and Luke. Reuben also went for a ride on the pony- Just like Woody!

Moving day(s)

Recently we have moved from Glenelg to Unley. It's been quite an effort with all of the stuff we have accumulated- even though it's only been 3 years at Glenelg.

Reuben had a fantastic time being in charge of raising and lowering the hydraulic ramp on the truck. he also helped to pack and loved to find interesting treasures in boxes. Here are some snaps.

Gold Coast

We have been in sunny QLD for the past week, in between Mike starting his new job. The warm weather was fantastic and it also gave both Reuben and Luke a chance to get over their colds. Reuben went full on as usual- and often ended each day in tears of exhaustion. After spending the day at Seaworld, he fell asleep in the bus at 4.00pm and didn't wake up till 7.00am the following morning!

Kuipto forest

On Sunday, we went to Kuipto forest with Ciocia Aleks. We cooked Polish sausages on a stick and ate salmon and blue cheese- yum. Reuben had a great time jumping in puddling, sitting in holes and freaking out Aleks, who thought he'd end up in the river! Luke was happy to look at everything that was going on, taking great interest in the trees above him.
